Aspire Mizo

Our Story

We are Mizo, an ethnic people group from Myanmar and India. We began immigrating to Jacksonville in 2007. When we arrived, there was no Mizo church, so we attended a Chin congregation in the city. However, as more of our people came to Jacksonville, we desired to have a worship service in our heart language. In December, 2009, we held a service at a home as a fellowship gathering. On August 14th, 2011, God planted the Mizo Church in Jacksonville with just a few people, and we met in various churches around the city. In 2022, God brought us to Aspire Church and in 2023 we became part of the Aspire Family of Churches.

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
